Robert Sexé was a famous Vendean (West France) was the first french to achieve in 1926, with success, the world tour on motorbike with his teammate Henri Andrieux via Vladivostok. Five and a half months in difficult conditions, on roads then ever borrowed, to meet peoples and countries, some now extinct. For this motorcycle journey, Robert Sexé ask to the Belgian firm, Gillet-Herstal, a prototype novel called "World Tour", a 220kg machine, chassis and wheels was reinforced with multiple tanks. They have traveled 35,000 km, 22 000km on a bike.
On arrival in Belgium, sporting achievement is widely recognized by national and international media, sometime later, a Belgian cartoonist, Hergé, draw "Tintin in the Land of the Soviets ", which have many similarities, as by physical appearance with Robert Sexé by his photos taken during his trip will be recorded.
